It was all a dream in the land of Midnight sun, and it became true in the year 2020!

Kerala, known as God’s own country, is known for its street food excellence. This was the beginning of streets of Kerala, to bring the flavor-packed, taste bud salivating dishes to the Yukon.

We aim at being the epitome of South Indian food caterers providing traditionally inspired dishes from Kerala. The only goal is that our guests crave more after a full appetite. That’s why we fill up the takeout trays to the brim!

Our dream came true in 2020, focusing on what we can bring to the table that’s more delicious, more exciting and even more tantalizing to the taste buds! What started almost three years ago, amidst all the fun things you can experience in Yukon, including the northern lights, lacked only one thing – an authentic South Indian meal - and here we are introducing something new to the menu with the utmost passion, love and happiness for our customers. Our food team has gone to extraordinary lengths to bring in this catering experience to more people, as many Yukoner’s have expressed their appreciation to our food over the past few years. So with this in mind, we bring the taste from the “Streets of Kerala” to the streets of the Yukon; and continue the practise of mixing and grinding our recipe’s to win over our customer’s heart with traditional and new flavourful ideas!

All our pickles are made with extra care and caution as they can be really spicy! We use our traditional and authentic method to prepare this special dish as this is our heritage and proud item that goes along with any food as a side dish. Chicken Biriyani

Chicken Dum Biriyani – Our most beloved and well-known dish. The good old traditional recipe from our elders that even take hours to prepare this wide variety of flavorful food. Contents: aromatic rice with Kerala grown spices, mixed with chicken dry masala curry, fried onions, dried raisins, cashew and pineapple mix. A perfect dish for lunch, dinner or special events.

Beef Pazhampori

Beef Pazhampori – A new south Indian dish made traditionally though. Sweet and spicy at the same time. Contents: Sweet deep fried plantain in coconut oil, cardamom and black sesame seeds, served with hot and spicy beef curry. Perfect snack or meal for evenings.

Kappayum Meenum

Kappayum Meenum – The taste of sea food in Kerala! Can’t miss this authentic spicy meal. This particular dish is even famous for serving with Sweet alcohol called Toddy back in Kerala. Contents: fish marinated with red Kashmiri chili powder, salt and coriander. Cooked with shallots, ginger, curry leaves etc.. to add the savory garcinia cambogia is added, its known as kodampuli in our language. This spicy curry is served along with tapioca cooked in coconut, turmeric, green chilies and fenugreek seeds paste

Masala dosa and Sambar

Masala dosa and Sambar – Our pride, our heritage. It is the variation of the most popular South Indian dosa, which has its origins in Tuluva Udupi cuisine of Karnataka. It is made from rice, lentils, potato, fenugreek, ghee and curry leaves. The tasty part is, it’s served with two best vegetable curries; Sambar and Coconut chutney, an absolute feast for Vegetarians. Best time to eat: mornings and evenings. This is our second most ordered dish after Chicken Dum Biriyani.

If there’s any south Indian dish that we are missing or you crave for that’s not in our menu, please give us a shout! At this time we are only doing takeout/catering orders more than $150.
